GREEN CITY PEST CONTROL ENVIRONMENTAL PEST EVALUATION:

We explore non-chemical approaches first. This sets us apart from the competition.

Today, more than ever, families are concerned with how they personally impact the environment, especially here in the beautiful Northwest. Green City Pest Control understands this and we also want our environmental impact to be healthy and minimal. We have built-in safeguards to reduce the risk of any product we might use.  A pest management program requires a team approach between the company and homeowner. With your help, we can eliminate and manage pest problems by reducing and stopping pest access, their search for food, and harborage.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
We utilize IPM as a foundation to evaluate and apply less chemicals. This in turn helps to preserve a healthy and clean environment. By doing repair work and monitoring pest behaviors we reduce or eliminate pests so they do not take over and cause more damage.  We often recommend servicing on a monthly and bi-monthly basis.  We have learned that applying quarterly or annual treatments only, sometimes results in pests returning and more product having to be applied.

We continually evaluate products and methods to find better ways to treat pest problems. Our goal is to protect our customers, their businesses and homes, AND our staff who often wear special protective suits and masks when necessary.

“Greenwashing” is a problem, particularly in our industry. It “is disinformation disseminated by an organization so as to present an environmentally responsible public image”. We do not do this. We believe we need to preserve and be good stewards of the environment so we can pass on an even healthier and cleaner world to our children. If you have questions regarding the products or techniques that we use, please do not hesitate to ask. We are happy to discuss any and all procedures.

We Love Honey Bees!

We are starting a “Save the Honey Bee” program to support honey bees do what they do best, pollinate! We will soon have a web page with more information. We are implementing a program to give wildflower seeds to customers. These seeds will help sustain honey bees all through the spring and summer season. We are passionate about helping these vital creatures thrive. Protecting our environment is key and we take this very seriously. Contact us to get involved.
